The foie gras of Lafitte duck, is made from foie gras of whole duck, salt, black pepper and spices without any additives or preservatives. Lafitte is a French company that since 1920 is engaged in the canning of foie gras, pates and other creations in the locality of Montaut.
Lafitte only makes use of the best ingredients, being awarded its foie gras of duck with the silver medal in the last two competitions of the Concours Général Agricole celebrated in Paris. In addition, foie gras of Lafitte duck, has the Label Rouge (Geographical Indication Protected) of quality that certifies its origin in the French department of the Landes. This Protected Geographical Indication requires the use of non-genetically modified foods in animal nutrition. Only 5% of the duck foie gras produced in France can boast of this condition. We are faced with an ideal format for use in bars, restaurants and other establishments.
