Sobao Pasiego

The sobao pasiego is a Protected Geographical Indication that concerns those sobaos whose elaboration and packaging area is made in the region of the Pas, community of Cantabria. The sobaos pasiegos within this Protected Geographical Indication are characterized by having an intense yellow crumb, a tan surface, a dense and spongy texture and a sweet flavor with butter aroma. The sobao pasiego is a sweet from Cantabria that will always be presented in a quadrangular paper base very peculiar to this sweet Cantabrian.
