Txakoli Gorka Izagirre

Gorka Izagirre wine cellar is situated in Larrabetzu, Bizkaia. This wine cellar makes one of the most prestigious txakoli wines from Bizkaia. Gorka Izagirre trusts the quality of the grape, this is the reason why they are working on regaining two autochthonous grape varieties: Hondarribi Zuri and Hondarribi Zuri Zerratia grapes.

Gorka Izagirre has more than 40 hectares of vineyards all around Bizkaia. The wine cellar is located in the famous Eneko atxa’s restaurant called Azurmedi. Using the most advanced oenological instruments, it stands out that Gorka Izagirre’s txakoli is under the certificate of origin Bizkaiko Txakolina that is not necessary to pour out due to its nature nothing carbonic.
